I’m hosting a Social Media Bootcamp March 9th, 2010 in Oklahoma City
In the last 12 months, I’ve been working with large organizations like Cisco, Lockheed Martin, and Great Clips, helping them develop a social media strategy for their business. These organizations see such a huge payoff potential from these social media strategies that they typically pay $15,000 or more for me to spend a single day speaking to their team.
As I speak business leaders I get so many requests from companies that want additional help and I simply cannot go everywhere I am requested, so I decided to start hosting my own Social Media Bootcamp, for more information, click here.
Enterprise Social Media Strategy 90-Day Coaching Program
With the growing saturation of social media and its impact on consumers, many organizations are recognizing the need to integrate it into their marketing mix, but most aren't sure where to start or how to develop a plan. Social media is useful for many types of organizations, whether it's a big brand or small business.
Using social media effectively helps companies engage audiences in new ways, be more personable, develop new connections, and maintain the ones they have.
Social media has taken the institutional control of marketing and put it in the hands of consumers or the general public. This is important because, with technology being ubiquitous and available to all, we have been given the tools to carry on conversations and discuss our views and vote for our favorite content online. We now form many of our opinions and impressions from others we come in contact with online. It brings a whole new dimension to “word of mouth” or “viral” marketing.
Understanding this principle is an important factor in building a social media strategy. Essentially, traditional ways of thinking won't necessarily work. Instead of studying demographics about your audience, you now have the opportunity to engage in conversation with them and learn what is important to them. The conversations are going on rather you choose to join in or not.
During the 90-day Enterprise Social Media Strategy engagement, I will help your company move from a state chaos to an organized, strategic Social Media plan using the following milestones:
1. Analysis and Goal Development for leveraging social technologies
2. Identify evangelists on client side and select social tech team
3. Governance Policy Created
4. Sales integration Process
5. Online Reputation Management Process
6. Crowdsourcing – who will own this internally
7. Measurement and ROI process
8. Assembling the Organization’s Social Media Tools
9. Develop Pilot Projects
10. Social Media Security and Usage

Workshops
Workshops can be assembled in formats of 2, 4 or 8 hours and can include idea harvesting, and/or strategy development as an outcome. In a workshop format, Scott delivers a more detailed set of content than in a keynote format and then integrates interaction with the audience so that organization specific goals can be met. If you want to both learn about what social media really can be used to accomplish, and also where it is headed, and then apply this information directly to your strategy, a workshop is for you.
